Why I’m here…
One night when I was three years old, my dad brought me home a little black transistor radio. I was hooked on music and radio ever since.
I’m Matt Bailey. I’ve spent the last 15 years conducting research that big radio stations around the world use to pick which new songs they play. In my free time, I’d examine publicly published data about popular music, from Billboard charts to Spotify data. With www.graphsaboutsongs.com, I finally have a place to share my analyses with you.
Why you should be here…
My hope is to help industry professionals and music nerds alike have a clear picture of what’s really happening in popular music.
